Bob Colman gets his organic grapes from the cool-climate wine growing region of Orange and then schleps them up the hill to make natural wine in Blackheath in the Blue Mountains. He doesn't add sulphites or anything else for that matter. Having a keen interest in minimal intervention wines was what led Bob down the path of making his own wines. Still in the very early years of his winemaking journey; Bob is already making spectacular wines.
A far lighter expression of Malbec although still retaining plenty of cacao and earthiness. The palate shows red plum, black cherry, tobacco leaf and vanilla as well as some baking spice notes with soft tannin. A safe bet with any red sauce Italian fare.
