The last of the 2018 releases from Chateau Acid. Just a couple of years into their winemaking journey and they have already garnered quite the reputation for producing some high quality, natural wines sourcing their fruit from Canowindra in the Central Ranges of NSW.
Bianco is 100% Biodynamic Vermentino from a sandy decomposed granite parcel at 400m above sea level. The wine saw 3 weeks of skin contact before having a rest in terracotta for 13 months. The wine spent a total of 1 year under flor. It was bottled with zero additions.
Bright and juicy, preserved fruits; apricot and peach. Notes of lemon oil, some slightly oxidative notes and zesty natural acidity. Real good mate.
