Early picked fruit from their vines in Gevingey of 100% Chardonnay. Soils here are clay limestone over limestone silica bedrock. Free run juice into stainless for wild fermentation and malo in barrels. The wines is aged 12 Months on lees before being disgorged with zero dosage.
Nice fruit richness to this wine, floral musk and ripe red apple. Leesy, bread dough, stone fruits. Quite saline, some pithy texture with a creamy bead. Beautifully crafted
