This ‘Heaven on Earth’ white blend from Christian is made from Weissburgunder, Scheurebe, and Gelber Muskateller grown on gravelly schist soils east of Lake Neusiedlersee. The name and label is inspired by the famous Austrian artist Alfred Hrdlicka. The grapes are macerated on their skins for 7-8 days, with whole bunch fermentation. The juice is spontaneously fermented in open top fermenters, and aged for 8 months partly in oak and partly in stainless steel. It is bottled without fining or filtration.
