Cantina Indigeno Wild Wine has broken into our borders! It’s the project of 3 friends with a deep love for their land that exploded on the Italian wine scene in 2016. These are expressive wines that are alive, low in alcohol and importantly serve up dizzying drinkability! Fun but serious, they are full of old school charm with a nod to the future.
Hand-harvested. Fermented on indigenous yeasts. Overnight maceration on skins in terracotta amphorae. Ageing in terracotta amphorae for 7 months without decanting and a short period in bottle before release. The wine contains no added S02.
The wine is savoury and herbal on the nose. Licks of green capsicum and lemongrass aromas. The palate is refreshing, mainly highlighting tertiary flavours and acidity. The wine will develop over time.
