Rita and Rudolf Trossen converted their estate to biodynamics in 1978. Since 2010 they have been working in the field of winemaking without the use of any additions whatsoever, this including zero sulphur. Although there are some winemakers working organically in Germany, the majority are steadfast users of sulphur as a stabiliser, so the Trossens are pioneers in this area.
The wine is dry with a fragrant nose once it comes closer to room temperature. Lots of classic green fruit, a hint of melon, some grassy notes and medium acid.
