This is a Pinot Noir Rosé from the Eastern Peake vineyard which sits atop the great dividing range, just north of Ballarat, managed by Owen Latta.
Barrel fermented before spending a year on lees gives this Rosé a beautiful savoury aroma. Lots of red fruit and violet floral aromas floating about too.
On the palate, it's got a very light texture. Cranberry, red currant and cherry fruits are dominant with a dazzling bitter orange component. Some light spice on the back palate to finish off. Seriously good wine.
