Mathias and Camille are a young couple that many consider a beacon of new thinking in a region so steeped in tradition. In 2008 they began to work their 12-hectare estate in an immediate ode to organics, with biodynamic practices quickly following in 2010. They make several small cuvees, all with purity and freshness in mind while respecting their terroir of limestone and clay. The Malbec portion of this wine undergoes carbonic maceration while the rest (Semillon + Merlot) is fermented more traditionally.
The wine is bright, crunchy and light on it's feet. Piquant cherry fruit and some forest floor earthiness on the nose while the medium-bodied palate explodes with red fruit and a light phenolic grip.
