Notes provided by Campbell Burton:
It’s from white soils around the village of Carricola, about an hour south of Valencia and it’s a seriously delicious blend of Tempranillo and Syrah.
Enjoy this with food - anything roasted should be just great - and serve at about 16-18C.
The winemaker, Vicent Tomas, was a forest ranger with a very strong love for the environment and he planted his vineyard so that he would be able to make healthy wine for his friends and family.
His red wines have delicious fruit along with the incredible levity that calcerous soils give.
