Notes provided by importer, Campbell Burton
This is from a single parcel within his 5ha Domaine and despite the typically dark fruit of the region, it's still utterly digestible and delicious thanks to the acidity inherent in all of Simon's wines.
It's medium-bodied, extraordinarily appropriate for cool weather, dark and seriously, seriously good fun to drink.
Simon's property is within the region of Cahors and sits on a sharp bend in the Lot River. His fruit (only red grapes here) is fermented in old oak after being destemmed and is run into bottle just before the next harvest.
