Dettori is a cult natural wine in Italy, Alessandro preserves his great-grandfather's vineyards with biodynamics, revives old Sardinian varieties and makes them into wine without the use of sulfur. The landscape in this part of north-west Sardinia is dramatic, sandy granite hills littered with giant granite boulders and all manner of native wild herbs and aromatic brush.
These are the real Sardinian wines, of course Vermentino for the whites and Cannonau for the reds but with bits of other native varieties also in there. This white is Vermentino which is rested for a year in concrete then is freshened up with some Moscatella from the next year's harvest. 13% abv
