For those not familiar with Muscadet, it is a light, fresh and saline white wine. The Polaris isn’t much different but adds some textural richness for depth. A lot of exotic fruits mingling with citrus on the nose. Lemon verbena, lime peel, some passion and grapefruit emerging on the palate. This bone-dry, crisp white is a classic pairing for oysters on the half shell but would be extremely well suited to any seafood or fresh cheese.
