Catherine was a journalist before she bought her vines in the Herault in the commune of Saint Drezery. She still writes but dedicates most of her time to her vines and wine. She works the vines in a biodynamic spirit but is certified organic. For a while Catherine shared a winery with another local vine-grower but in 2015 she built her own.
Catherine often exclaims that she wishes she could make white wine rather than red wine and this desire comes across in it's character – great elegance and fine tannins with lots of delicate red fruit.
2018 was a rough year and Catherine lost 80% of her fruit to mildew. Thankfully, a lovely neighbour donated fruit to make this gorgeous red blend of Grenache and Cinsault.
Deep, fruity, and lucious.
