Notes from Cré:
Syrah grown in Dixon’s Creek, Yarra Valley by the Phelan Family. Nestled in the foothills of the great dividing range, at 200m elevation on a gentle south facing slope. Fruit was handpicked, then transferred as whole bunches into stainless steel for carbonic maceration. No pump overs. No punch downs. Delicately handled from start to finish. Elevage in old oak for 3 months.
Delicate and floral nose of potpourri and dried herbs. The palate flows like sheets of satin with fresh acidity and considered red fruit notes and star anise.
