Very light colour, the lightest so far to date. And more iridescent, not dark. Notes are delicate and light – it’s like he’s seen what the lighter styles are that have captured everyone’s hearts, and is heading in that direction. Very perfumed - a myriad of roses and spices. Already so complex for a young wine. Blood orange, strawberries and notes of negroni. Hints of baking spice and bacon fat, but subtle – they’re both signatures of Touraize. Red cherries. On the palate, it is silky smooth and long. Very unique, definitely the best yet. Very fresh and lifted. Residual fine tannins, clove and spice. Pretty and detailed in such an elegant way. Fresh and bright and the perfect chilled red for Spring and Summer.
