About The Wine
Striking Blood Plum colour fills the glass with a very pale rim. Vivid core of ripe strawberry aromas, powerful rose, lavender. Dusty brick and cherry, strawberry, cranberry crush. A dry wine with small berries, very fine and persistent tannins and excellent flow. Incredibly perfumed with piles of fruit and fabulous tannic complexity. Excellent drinking.
About Little Reddie
Pat Underwoods passion for wine was found through his passion for coffee. Whilst working in a bar in Castlemaine his colleague and friend Jarad Curwood from Chapter Wine allowed him to pick some grapes from a farm under his care. This led to the first wine produced under the Little Reddie label. A Shiraz fermented in his father’s backyard and aptly named after the drought hardy, introduced fish he was catching in local waters.
